Birthday 2016

On the morning of the kids birthday Liam woke up and sleepily came into there kitchen where I was baking cakes. I said "Liam it's your birthday!"  

His eyes lit up and he said "Is Fiona awake?"

I replied "No, do you want to go wake her up?"

He ran into Fiona's room and sweetly said, "Fiona wake up it's your birthday!"

This year's birthday theme was Paw Patrol.  Both the kids love this show so it was perfect!

Liam's favorite pup is Chase the police pup.

Fiona's favorite is Skye the flying girl pup.

Everything was puppy themed. Paw print cupcakes and dog bowls for the food.

Liam was so excited to open presents.  He asked us all day but had to wait until everybody came at night.

 For moths if you asked what she wanted for her birthday she would say "Cake!"

Apparently all of our singing was a little to loud for her.

We had a great birthday.  

Easter 2016

Liam kept asking this year when we were going to hunt the eggs.  So we put together a little egg hunt for easter. Because I had to work on Easter Sunday we did it on Friday.  That's the life of a hospital worker.

They both loved going around the yard looking for their eggs.  I told them that Liam got to find all the green, blue, and orange eggs, and Fiona got to find all the pink, purple, and yellow eggs.  They both said okay.  We didn't have any issues.  They kept to their colors.

They both loved opening the eggs to see what was inside!

Hiking Red Cliffs with the Nicolaides Family

 Melissa and her family came down to visit. One of the days we went hiking at Red Cliffs.  All the boys had so much fun! Fiona wanted so bad to be a big girl and hike all on her own!

All the boys loved scrambling up the rocks to get to high places. The views were gorgeous!

 It was March and just starting to warm up, everything was green against the red rocks

Melissa and TJ each had a child strapped to them.  It was a good workout for them.

Liam was a crazy child! Running up and down slick rocks.  Climbing into tiny caves.  He was making this Mama very nervous.

Poor Fiona wanted to do everything that Liam and the boys were doing and could't understand why I wouldn't let her.  We got to the top of the hike and she kept saying food, food.  She was so hungry and I had brought no snacks because we were having a picnic at the bottom.

We love it when cousins come to visit and we can do fun things with them!

Christmas 2015

We had so much fun for Christmas!

We had our usual breakfast of Cinnamon Rolls and quiche and hot chocolate.  Grandma came down to celebrate with us.  Then we headed up to Salt Lake and visited Papa, Melissa, Michele, Matt, Melanie and all of their families.  Melissa had Evelyn on Christmas Eve so we got to meet her!  We made sushi dinner.
