Early Christmas

Liam is having eye surgery the week before Christmas up in Salt Lake City.  We will be spending Christmas up there while Liam recuperates.  So we had early Christmas at our house. We opened our presents and also the presents Grandma Dunning and Grandpa Gary gave us.

Santa came to visit. Liam was not thrilled.

Family Photos

Here are our family photos. Chris and I did them ourselves with our handy "clicker" (remote control for my Nikon)

The first couple were done out at Quail Lake. I really underestimated how hard it would be to get Liam to look at the camera. Especially since no one was actually behind the camera.

All in all it turned out okay. We were able to get a couple of good ones before we Liam completely melted down,

Thanksgiving 2012

This year for thanksgiving we spent the day up at Brian Head ski resort in Parowan Utah. Grandma Dunning and Grandpa Gary watched Liam in the Lodge while Chris and I went snowboarding.

All of us in our snow suits. Even Liam

Everyone in the Lodge loved Liam. He was so happy and loved all of the attention.

After a day of snowboarding we went to a Thanksgiving buffet. It was delicious.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun spending time with The Dunning Family.

October

Liam fell asleep while eating breakfast. Eating solid food is hard work!
His favorites are bananas, oatmeal, and peaches

Halloween 2012

For Halloween our family dressed up as Dr Crankenstein, Crankenstein's Monster, and the bride of Crankenstein.  Anytime Liam was cranky we would call him Crankenstein, so naturally that is what we had to dress him as for Halloween.

Auntie Jess and Liam

We went over to my friend Jessica's house for a little party. As always there was good food and a lot of fun.

Halloween Party with the Wells'

In the middle of October we went up to SLC to have a Halloween Party with the Wells side of the family. Mema and Papa were in town from New york, and Michele and her kids were in town from Boise.

All the kids decorated pumpkin cookies.

We made spooky rootbeer

Auntie Lis made a pin the spider on the web game for the older kids.

We painted pumpkins

Liam wanted to be like the older boys and have his shirt off too!

We Managed to get a group shot with everyone in their pumpkin shirts that Mema bought before everyone changed into their costumes.
Remy as the cowardly Lion

Liam as Dr. Crankenstein

Josh as Captain America, Tommy as The Hulk, and George as a pirate

Matt must have been Loki, because Tommy and Josh went avengers on him.

Papa and Hadlee as Themselves

We had so much fun! Halloween is Marci's favorite Holiday and this was a great  way to celebrate

September Fun

September has been a fun and crazy month. Liam is getting so fun. He talks non stop, and is very interactive.  He will look for you when he hears your voice, and talk to you when you talk to him.

He is so cute and cuddly when he is asleep
After Liam was 4 and 1/2 months old we decided to try and give him a little rice cereal.  We went out and bought a highchair. He actually enjoyed sitting in it. He was not so sure about the rice cereal.

First bite

Not sure if i liked that
In the end we ended up putting the rice cereal in with his bottle and he gulped it down in a matter of minutes. I think it was just the spoon that was too foreign for him.  We will continue trying and hopefully by the time we start him on some fruits and veggies he will so better.

Liam's Glasses

Liam had cross eyes since he was born. We were told that he was supposed to grow out of it by the time he was 6 weeks old. When he didn't we took him to an alignment specialist up in SLC. They checked his eyes and said that he was extremely far-sighted and would need glasses.

We will go back in 3 months to see how the glasses are working. Hopefully they are working great! If not then he will have to go in for surgery to correct the crossing.
