Liam in the kitchen and bath

Liam loves to help out in the kitchen. His favorite job is cooking.  He loves to stir.  I bring a chair into the kitchen and let him go to town. He is a good mess maker, but absolutely loves it!

Luckily for me he also likes to help clean up. Here he is loading dishes.

And wiping down the counters.  He doesn't always do the best job, and most times makes a bigger mess than he cleans up, but I love to have my little helper in the kitchen with me.

This was Liam's first attempt at feeding himself yogurt with a spoon. He loved it!

Afterward we of coarse had to get in the bath. Liam loves lining all his toys up on the side of the tub and then pushing them in one by one.  What a silly boy!

He also loves helpin us give the pups a bath.

What a helper!

Thanksgiving 2013

This year we had thanksgiving at our house with Grandma Dunning and Grandpa Gary.  Grandma brought Liam a new toy and he loved it!

Liam refused to eat in his high chair.  He wanted to sit at the table like everyone else and have a real plate and spoon!

He soon gave up on the spoon when it wasn't getting the delicious yams into his mouth fast enough. He is turning into such a big boy!

Halloween 2013

This year for Halloween Liam was a puppy. Dogs are his favorite animals. He loves to run around and say "arf arf" just like a puppy.
What a cute little tail!

Liam and his stuffed puppy.

This was Liam's first year trick or treating and he loved it. He loved that he could walk up to people's houses and they would give him candy! He immediately gave that candy right to me to open up and eat.  We love Halloween!

Liam, The Chickens, and Juno

Liam loves the chickens. Every morning we go out to check on them.  He runs right over to the pen and looks through the door to check on them.

Just making sure they are alright in there

Liam has embraced having a "big dog" in the home. I am so glad Juno and him get along as well as they do.

Liam's new favorite trick is to stick his tongue out like Juno.

Juno and Liam playing with a stick. So glad they are such good buddies!

Zion, camping, and the splash pad

We had a lot of fun trips this summer. The first was camping with the Dunning's in Pine Valley.  We went up for two days. We biked, cooked dutch oven, and had fun walking around with Liam.

Zoe decided her bed would be the dutch oven case.  She is not a sleep on the ground kind of pup.

Liam taking a bath in the RV sink. Barely big enough for him.

Next we went to Zion with the Wells'.  We took all the kids and hiked up to weeping rock.

Liam could walk, but I did not trust him to not run off a cliff, so he was in the backpack.

The whole gang

Later that day we went to the splash pad to cool off. The kids loved it.

Happy Birthday Liam

Liam's first birthday was a great day! He was happy all day.  Mema and Papa Wells came down from SLC and Grandma Dunning and Grandpa Gary came down from Cedar City. We had a nice relaxing night, BBQ, and cake smash.
Liam ready for birthday fun

We decided to do a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme

Our cupcake cake
And Liam's very own cake to smash

Liam and I opening presents

Not sure what to do with this cake

Oh I eat it?

Not sure if I like it

It is very fun to smash with my foot though!

Liam did not like the cake.  So Zoe came over to see if she could help.

Liam started walking a few days before his birthday, so by this time he was a pro.  He decided to leave the cake in his dust.

And introducing our new pup Juno :)

I can't believe Liam in one. He has been the biggest blessing to both Chris and I.  We love him so much and would do anything for him.  He keeps us on our toes and keeps us laughing.  He is such an easy going, smart, loving boy. We love you Liam!

River Trip

We took Liam down to the river that is behind our house for the first time.  It was a steep hike down to the river.
Once we got there we stopped for a picnic lunch. Both Liam and Zoe enjoyed the lunch meat

Liam absolutely loved the river. He splashed and kicked and stomped all the water

We had so much fun! We definitely will be doing this a lot more this summer
