Decorating the Christmas Tree

Liam was so excited to decorate the Christmas tree this year.  Every time we would go to a store and see a tree he would say, "Mommy tree with lights in the cart!"  And I would tell him no because we already have one.  When I got it down from the attic he helped me pull it out of the box and as soon as it was standing he was decorating it.
With his blocks, and bunny, and every car he could get his hands on.

So I told him we are supposed to put ornaments on it.

And he said "No balls we kick 'em" and promptly lined them up in a line.  He then went down the line and kicked every single one like a soccer player warming up.  Good thing we have the shatter proof ones :)

Finally I convinced them they went on the tree and he was a very good helper at picking them all up from across the room and bring them to me to put on the tree.  He would say "'Er go Mommy" with each one.

He adores the tree.  Anytime it is not plugged in he says "Chrimas tree Lights on"

Fiona and Zoe helped too :)

Growing up we had a wooden nativity that the kids were allowed to play with.  My grandpa had made one for each of his kids.  The first Christmas I was married I got one from my Grandpa Wells.  He hand made a set for each one of his grandkids too!  This is Liam and Fiona playing with ours.  Every time I see them play with it I tear up.  It brings back so many memories of my childhood and I am so grateful my Grandpa made one for my family.  They will always have this gift from their Great Pa Pa.

Juno and Meg fun

We had the pleasure of puppy sitting for one of our friends.  We had Meg for almost a week and the whole family loved it.

Liam thought he was one of the dogs.  He would follow Meg and Juno around everywhere.  He loved playing fetch with them.

And just laying around the yard with them.

It was gorgeous weather so we spent a lot of time outside.  It was just starting to cool down and get the cool fall air.

Liam loved to take pictures with Fi Fi

I had to tickle Liam to get a good smile out of him.  When I showed him this picture I said "Look how cute you are"  and he replied with "Honey sleeping"  He has called Fiona Honey since she was born.  Occasionally he will call her Fi Fi, but Honey is his name of choice for her, and I love it.

Liam being crazy :)

Halloween 2014

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday! I love the weather and the food and of coarse the costumes! This year Liam loved watching Monkey Pumpkin (Curious George Halloween Special) and Puppy Pumpkin (Air-Buds Halloween)
Decorating Halloween cookies.  I put the cookies in front of Liam, then went back into the kitchen to mix the frosting.  When I got back there was one bite out of each cookie on the plate!!! Liam thought he was the quality control :)

Liam did so good! He put the frosting right on them.

And he had no trouble eating them.

Fiona was such a good girl and sat in her toy the whole time.

Chris has wanted to dress up as the Mario gang ever since we started thinking about having a family.  This year we had enough kids that his wish came true.  Me as Princess Peach, Chris as Mario, Liam as Toad, and Fiona as a pink Yoshi.  I wish I had a better picture because everyone was adorable!!!

Liam loved his Toad hat!  He wore it around everywhere.  He thought it was a pumpkin and called it his pumpkin hat.

Family pictures 2014

We had such an interesting time doing family pictures.

Liam was completely wound up and would not sit still for a minute to get a picture

This one we both grabbed him as he was running by.

Chris and I had fun trying to get me up in the tree

Liam decided he wanted to be in this picture.

Love each other so much!!

Fiona loved having her picture taken!

Fiona loves her daddy!

She was all smiles

Pretty much the whole day. Chasing this crazy boy around.

I was tickling Liam's leg.

Liam kept looking at the camera and saying "No not cheese"

So we got him to say "Big Sharks!"

Love this one!

Definitely one of my favorites.

Our friend Laura Weeks took these and I think she did amazing!!!
Love my sweet little family.
