Halloween 2015

Halloween is our very favorite holiday! Starting in September Liam started watching spooky shows on youtube so I decided it was time to pick our costumes.  He immediately informed me that he would be a ghost, Fiona would be a "winch", I would be a skeleton, and Chris would be a zombie. So I got to work on out costumes.
Our pumpkins came a little early.  This one we picked at the end of August. Just in time to get us in the mood for Halloween

Also there was a spooky blood moon in September.  Chris, Liam, and I went out in the dark to take pictures.  Fiona was already in bed.

This is us! So spooky!
Liam and Fiona

Our Auntie Whitney came down to trick or treat with us.  Her son Marshall was a commando.

Fiona was so good and left her witch hat on the whole time we trick or treated.

And these are my great helpers cleaning up the day after Halloween.  Both wanted to help me wash the dishes.

Water Table Fun

Our favorite summertime activity is playing in the water table.  Both the kids and the dog love it, and Chris and I enjoy sitting back and watching.
Fiona loves to get the bubbles and put them everywhere! On her face, on he puppy, and on me.

Juno especially loves the water table.  She loves to bite the water as it comes out of the hose and bury her face in the bubbles.

We love the summertime and wish it would never end! Nice hot weather and tons of outside time.

San Diego 2015

San Diego 2015 was a lot of fun!

As always we loved our morning beach walks to look for sea shells. Fiona loved watching the water come in.  Liam loved running straight into the waves and getting wet.

We had plenty of beach time with Michele, Tyler, George, Patrick, Papa, Shiny, Hadlee, and Afton.

Fiona was a busy girl at the beach.  She got sand on everyone and everything.

She loved playing in the water.

Liam and Hadlee were inseparable the whole trip.  They loved playing together, going on walks in the double stroller, and sharing the iPad at night.

All the cousins together!

We went to the San Diego Zoo one day.

Liam loved seeing all the different animals.  His favorite were the giraffes.  They were eating dead branches and he thought they were french fries (his favorite food). He also said he want to see a dog at the zoo.  I told him they only had wild animals there, and then there were domestic dogs in with the cheetahs to make them calmer!  He said " See mom they have dogs here".

Hadlee and Liam playing in the seal caves.

My favorites were the elephants.  One came right up to the water and got a big drink, and then peed! Ha ha it was great.

Fiona with the monkeys. (Chris included ha ha)

We had so much fun at the zoo.  Liam cried and cried when we left.  When I asked him what was wrong he said " Mama I just want to stay at the zoo". Apparently all day was not long enough :)

We look forward to this trip every year.  It is so fun to get together with the cousins and just hang out.  This year was the first without Mema which made it very hard.  She always loved going and sitting on the beach. That combined with having two very mobile kids made it a hard time, but we still had a lot of fun.

Dragons and Princesses

This year was our first official double birthday party!  Liam and Fiona were born on the same day 2 years apart.
This years theme was Dragons and Princesses
The table was split right down the middle. Dragons on one side, Princesses on the other.

My mom used to make us Barbie cakes all the time, so I carried on the tradition and made one for Fi Fi.

And cupcakes with little tiaras.

For Liam it was a dragon cake with the dragons flying through the sky.

And little dragon back cupcakes.

They were both so excited for their birthday!

Fiona was hanging on to her grandma the whole time.

They both loved opening their presents.

Liam especially loved his toy from daddy.  It was a Cars race track.  He gave it to me and kept saying "Ok Mommy. Ok Mommy" over and over again.  He couldn't wait to open it up.

Fiona was not so sure about her cake.  She took a couple bites, played in the frosting, and then crawled away.

Liam LOVED his cake.  He got a fork and went to town!!!

And our growth chart.  We have some tall kids.  Fiona is about 2 inches taller than Liam was at age 1.

We had so much fun for their birthdays.  I can't believe I was blessed with 2 wonderful kids.  We love them so much.
